Sr Lead, Architecture Solutions (COLM)
The Senior Lead, Solution Architect is responsible for defining and driving solution architecture for the Client Onboarding & Lifecycle Management (COLM) platform. As a key member of the COLM architecture function, this role advances technology solutions through aligned strategies, target-state roadmaps, and standardized architectural patterns supporting onboarding and lifecycle capabilities. Partnering with business stakeholders, product owners, engineering leads, and enterprise architects, the individual designs and delivers scalable, secure, and compliant solutions across a complex ecosystem while ensuring alignment to enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and business objectives. The role is accountable for defining target state architecture, assessing current state landscapes, and governing solution alignment across initiatives to enable effective transformation.
This individual is delivery-oriented, with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of influencing both senior leadership and technical teams. The Senior Lead Solution Architect must make pragmatic decisions that balance strategic value, time-to-market, cost, and risk, while driving integration consistency and adherence to enterprise patterns. Responsibilities include identifying overlapping capabilities, promoting rationalization and reuse, and guiding engineering teams toward efficient, scalable solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in solution and enterprise architecture, with the ability to solve complex problems independently, lead technology planning, and collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
Define target state architecture and multi-year roadmaps for COLM
Lead end-to-end solution architecture design for onboarding and lifecycle initiatives
Define integration patterns, data flows, and system interactions
Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, resiliency, and performance requirements
Govern architecture through our enterprise framework and processes (SDAM, ARB, Security Authority)
Maintain architecture artifacts (HLD, DLD, ADRs)
Align portfolio investments to architecture strategy and roadmap
Drive rationalization of duplicative capabilities and promote reusability
Lead cloud adoption and architecture on Azure.
Ensure DevOps maturity, automation, and release efficiency.
Initiate and conduct Proof of Concepts leading to architectural decisions
Partnership
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and leadership to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for key initiatives.
Provide regular updates, technical insights, and risk assessments to stakeholders.
Contribute to estimation models with engineering leads and planning activities with product owners
Leadership
Guide federated architecture contributors across engineering
Conduct technical training, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Operational Excellence
Drive design debt identification and remediation.
Ensure production stability, observability, and monitoring
Qualifications (Required)
Minimum 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience delivering complex, multi-system architectures
Expertise in API, integration, and data architecture
Experience in regulated environments (financial services, KYC/AML)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications (Preferred)
Experience with Client Onboarding and Lifecycle Management platforms
Familiarity with SDAM or similar governance frameworks
Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
