About the Role
The Business Manager reports directly to the Head of Chief Control Officer (CCO) Enablement. This is an impactful role that will be responsible for the management of financial, organizational and compliance related reporting and deliverables.
The ideal candidate will have an understanding of risk management and controls, finance, organization and capacity management and assessment. Understanding the functional areas within the enterprise CCO organization will be critical in order to facilitate collaboration and enable efficient and informed decision-making. Communication skills will be critical as the role will support liaising with key stakeholders and collaborating with senior business leaders on key initiatives.
Data Analysis
Responsible for creating reports on KPIs, financials, FTE and capacity, efficiency metrics and ongoing analytics.
Creates processes as needed to collect key data points related to the analyses
Create, improve and maintain high quality business intelligence reporting
Define and implement reporting storage and access
Finance
Supports annual planning by helping to author and present capital investment business cases, as required
Supports monthly financial analysis and reporting (actual spend to date, forecast and status of spend)
Creates accurate analysis and reporting through attention to detail and in-depth business understanding.
Presents information in a concise, intuitive format focused on key takeaways and actionable recommendations to leadership
Works with CCO leadership and Finance to create annual financial plan
Ad hoc financial and data analysis
Works with key stakeholders within and outside of CCO to analyze opportunities to improve financial performance
People reporting
Regular reporting to leadership changes and expected movement in FTEs through engagement with human resources, recruiting and CCO leadership
Capacity measurement reporting and opportunities to improve efficiency
Team compliance reporting for training, in office attendance

Skills/Experience Required
Experience in reporting and analyzing financials and budgets
Authoritative knowledge in business specific industry and regulatory knowledge and fundamentals
Knowledge in developing standards or best practices
Skills in translating broad strategic intent into tactical plans and directions
Excellent organizational and analytical skills are required. Requires excellent leadership skills and communication skills (both written and oral)
Requires a college or university degree and/or relevant work experience, excellent organizational and leadership skills in project management that provides knowledge to the functional business
Demonstrates excellent experience in change initiatives, covering such areas as operations, IT and product development; with a track record of accomplishment in large, complex projects and change initiatives
