Job Summary:

The Technical Program Manager (Tech PM) or Tower CAO is responsible for providing leadership and guidance for planning, organization, direction and control of the Accounting and Fund Administration tower under Global Engineering. This role is responsible for the oversight of multiple technology unit functions, confirming to the overall enterprise strategy.

Responsibilities

Support the Business Unit for the development, implementation, and communication of the overall strategy to meet both the unit's and the corporation's strategic plan.

Oversees, plans, and directs the activities for the unit, ensuring that resources are available to accomplish the business objectives.

Aligned with the business unit and responsible for strategy, finance, HR and reporting of IT related activities while ensuring appropriate resources are brought in to fill various needs of the business unit.

This role will play a key part in advancing our portfolio priorities by:

• Enhancing program governance and reporting

• Improving cross-team coordination and execution discipline

• Focus on team structures and team culture improvements

• Active management of key initiatives blockers, issues, risks, and dependencies

• Financial management discipline (Capital and Expense management)

• Coordinate and drive workforce hiring strategy

Knowledge/Skills

  • The successful candidate will have experience in similar roles within a large, global financial services corporation

  • Is an effective communicator and has the capability to negotiate successful outcomes with senior and executive managers within the organization.

  • Should be effective in following up with partners on Operational compliances and Executive Reporting

  • An understanding of operations and technology issues within financial services, such as managing operations and budget, managing p/l and global hiring is a must.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field

  • 10+ years of experience in similar roles.

  • Adept in Microsoft excel, PowerPoint and MS Word alongside usage of MS Copilot

  • Knowledge of Power Platforms, ADO and Reporting

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and evaluate risks and track them to closure.
