Major Duties

  • Trade processing and settlements of ETD trades on NT applications.

  • Ensures Day to day SLA & Quality parameters are met. Checklists are prepared and submitted to the supervisor on a daily basis

  • Ability to handle, escalate & resolve queries in a timely manner

  • Builds a strong depository of the Operations and Domain knowledge in the team

  • To actively be involved in creating/ capturing process updates/ workflows pertaining to business & process

  • To handle small clusters within the team where deliverables of the cluster are monitored

  • To perform route cause analysis of errors and suggest/ implement controls in consultation with the Supervisor/ Manager

  • To provide training sessions to new joiners and existing partners in the team

  • To actively work on identifying and implementing process improvements in consultation with the Supervisor

  • To initiate and lead team building activities within the team

  • To actively participate in Audits/ BCP exercises and to help the supervisor to ensure awareness in the team

  • To assist the supervisor/ Manager in conducting Risk/ BCP/ Compliance awareness sessions

  • Actively manage and mitigate risk with respect to job assigned

  • Follow all policies and procedures at all the times designed to help identify, assess, monitor, and control risk

  • Zero tolerance to errors and deviations from established procedures in performing tasks (including review and approvals) in respect of self to achieve 100% process quality and accuracy

  • Understanding of overall business model and impact of various sub processes on the business.

  • Allocation and manage the volume assigned; Assists others to complete their work in time. All the discrepancies are researched and articulated

  • Averse/Adapt to the change and initiatives

  • Active Participation in assignments completed within and outside of your team

  • Act with client satisfaction at all times. Understand clients requirements, special procedures if any, impact of missing a process deliverables

  • Ensure accountability towards the day to day deliverables is demonstrated at all the time

  • Exhibit the team work to ensure to meet the fluctuating volume

  • Taking initiatives to execute the critical/pending tasks including migrations with utmost accuracy within desired timelines

  • Active Participation in assignments completed within and outside of your team

Knowledge/ Skills

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills

  • Possesses good communication & analytical skills

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with partners on site/ across business lines/ juniors and seniors

  • A proactive approach to problem solving, taking ownership of issues and having the determination to follow through. Escalate issues as appropriate

  • A client focused approach

  • Possesses working knowledge of MS Office

  • Exposure and understanding of Risk, Audit and Compliance factors

  • Working knowledge of the business and financial services industry

  • Develops a network of colleagues, peers and other stakeholders

  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and accepts changes as they occur in team/division

  • Analyze existing client data and make recommendations for increased client satisfaction

  • Understand clients requirements, special procedures if any, impact of missing a process deliverables

  • Ownership for own performance by completing all assigned work/tasks within time

  • Problem solving skills. Identify and define a problem or issue and consider alternative ways to address the issue

  • Acknowledge receipts of critical requests , and holding replies when replies are going to be delayed due to research/processing

  • Demonstrate effective listening skills in process training/ huddle/ meetings

  • Take ownership of task/activities assigned to self

  • Seek and act on constructive feedback from manager. Ensure follow-up with your manager around your learning/growth goals

Knowledge of Capital Markets with exposure to Derivative products of ETD, Custodian operations, Reconciliations, Accounting would be an added advantage

Experience Required

  • Industry experience of around 2 years (preferably Derivatives) and should be open to working in the night shifts

Eligibility

  • 12 months as an Analyst II
