About the Role
The Nuveen Global Events team sits in the global marketing organisation and supports our EMEA corporate business, working closely with Sales and Investment teams to deliver events across the region. We are seeking an Event Marketing Management Working Student to provide administrative and logistical support to our DACH region operations in an international, dynamic environment.
In this role, you will assist the Senior Event Manager and Client Marketing Manager with day-to-day administration and planning tasks across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will support third-party industry events such as Institutional Money Kongress, SuperReturn International, and Expo Real, as well as proprietary Nuveen events including conferences, roundtables, and networking receptions. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of event marketing while gaining exposure to the global asset management industry.


Your Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination: Support in organizing and executing proprietary events, industry conferences, trade fairs, and internal events
Project Planning : Support in creating project plans, planning documents, and planning presentations for DACH events
Attendee management: Assist in building registration websites in Cvent, managing invitations, reporting on registrations, and post event reporting.
Vendor management: Communicate where required with service providers, venues, and caterers.
Corporate Merchandise: Cultivate new merchandise ideas including but not limited to placing orders, and managing inventory .
Budget management: Support on the processing of invoices and tracking of DACH budgets in partnership with the Senior Event Manager, DACH.
Follow-up: Build and report on event feedback and support with event taxation.
Innovation: Contribute creative ideas to develop our event formats and concepts

Your Profile:

  • Enrolled student (m/f/d) in Business Administration, Communications, Event Management, or a comparable field of study

  • Initial practical experience in event management or event organization desirable

  • Strong organizational skills and structured approach to work

  • Strong communication skills, team spirit, and creativity

  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), interest in event management tools

  • Proactive and solution-oriented working style
