Associate – Data Analytics
We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer in Banking, Financial Services, and Wealth & Investment Management supporting US companies. You will build and optimize data pipelines, develop analytics solutions using SQL, Python, Snowflake, Alteryx, and Tableau, and ensure data quality and governance standards are maintained across all data assets.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Build and maintain ETL/ELT workflows using Python, SQL, and Alteryx
Design and optimize data solutions on Snowflake platform
Develop Tableau dashboards and reports for business analytics
Ensure data quality through validation, testing, and monitoring frameworks
Support data governance policies and regulatory compliance requirements
Document data flows, lineage, and metadata standards
Manage code repositories using GIT and follow version control best practices
Resolve data-related issues and provide production system support
Work with analysts, data scientists, and US stakeholders on data initiatives
Contribute to technical design and architecture decisions
Convert business needs into data solutions
Review code and maintain engineering standards
Identify opportunities for processing automation and improvement
Required Skills:

Technical Skills:
Advanced SQL skills including optimization and tuning
Proficient Python programming for data processing and automation
Experience with Snowflake data platform (2+ years minimum)
Knowledge of Alteryx for data transformation workflows
Ability to build Tableau dashboards and analytics reports
Understanding of GIT for code management

Functional Skills:
Current role as Data Engineer or Senior Data Engineer (3+ years minimum)
Solid grasp of data engineering concepts and implementation
Understanding of data quality practices and frameworks
Awareness of data governance and compliance needs
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
Good interpersonal and communication skills

Industry Requirements:
8-12 years in data engineering or analytics
Must have experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Wealth & Investment Management supporting US clients
Knowledge of financial domain, investment products, and regulations
Comfortable working with US-based teams
Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline
Preferred Skills:
Snowflake or Tableau professional certifications
Data catalog platform exposure
Agile methodology experience
CI/CD pipeline understanding
US banking and investment management regulation knowledge (SOX, SEC, FINRA)
Prior work with major US financial institutions or wealth management firms
Domain expertise in investment portfolios, asset management, advisory services, or client analytics
Understanding of wealth management products including mutual funds, ETFs, retirement accounts, and brokerage services
