The Retirement Transition Manager I (TM I) is responsible for the comprehensive coordination of all platform transition services for retirement plan clients. The Retirement Transition Manager I is the primary interface with clients when their plan services are undergoing changes. Working under limited supervision, this job is ultimately responsible for the success of each transition including overall service delivery, project management, and oversight throughout the various conversions of the retirement plans.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Leads smaller implementation projects for institutional retirement plan clients with high quality outcomes.
  • Handles client relationships, creates project plans and ensures on-time delivery, provides status updates and partners with cross-functional teams to deliver institutional offers.
  • Engages with and partners with appropriate resources in a highly-matrixed environment.
  • Identifies, escalates, and resolves risks or issues for moderately complex implementations.
  • Addresses client and/or business partners transition challenges, questions and concerns.
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
FINRA Registrations
  • SRC Indicator: Series 6 or 7
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Required Skills:

  • Must obtain your Series Series 6 or 7 within 120 days.
  • Project management skills with the ability to create detailed project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Strong client relationship management to effectively handle institutional retirement plan clients.
  • Clear and professional communication skills for delivering status updates and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Risk identification and mitigation capabilities for recognizing, escalating, and resolving issues in moderately complex implementations.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in retirement plan administration or institutional financial services.
  • Familiarity with working in a matrixed organizational structure to navigate complex internal environments.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft office.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address client and business partner transition challenges effectively.

2026-05-28Base Pay Range: $79,900/yr - $87,800/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
