Overview of the Role
This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Marketer to develop, manage, execute and measure effective marketing campaigns to engage clients and generate new leads within the Nordics and Benelux regions. The role is integral to support the growth of the European business, with a strong focus on Benelux, Denmark, Sweden and a light touch on Finland, Norway and Iceland targeting both institutional and private wealth investors. Based in Nuveen’s Copenhagen, Stockholm or Amsterdam office with close alignment with the local sales teams in Copenhagen/Stockholm/Amsterdam and the Marketing team across Europe, is required to execute the region’s ‘go to market’ plan and best position Nuveen for growth.
The role requires generalist marketing knowledge as it touches a wide spectrum of mar-com activities and will serve as a liaison to other marketing functions including communications, product, brand, digital and paid media, across Europe and U.S.-based marketing teams, helping to provide an integrated marketing approach.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops, owns and executes on marketing plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and providing guidance to wider Marketing team so that all activity is in lock step.
Partners closely with Global Client Group (sales team) to ensure marketing initiatives align with capital raising priorities and themes, providing a tailored experience for clients and prospects in the region.
Oversees the creation, maintenance and production of online and offline marketing materials as required by the sales team, ensuring materials are aligned with business strategy and objectives. This includes marketing presentations, brochures, white papers, website content, email marketing, social media and videos.
Identifies and executes brand-building and awareness opportunities for the business including advertising, advertorials, sponsorship and social media, working closely with key local media publications as well as brand, design, paid media, PR and content comms teams.
Works closely with events team on proprietary and external events programme, ensuring activities align with regional plan, position the brand effectively and provide an elevated client experience.
Works closely with global digital team to create local websites, ensuring content is updated and aligns to regional goals, in addition to advising on appropriate personalised content for website IP detection, ensuring all Nordic/Benelux website users have a refined digital experience.
Partners with analytics team to provide reporting and analysis of marketing programmes, ensuring regular reviewing and refining.
Seeks more innovative ways in which the business can be marketed, with a focus on enhancing the client experience.
Technical Skills & Qualifications Required:
4 to 5 years marketing experience
Degree educated
Qualification in Marketing preferred
Experience working within financial services
Strongly fluent in written and spoken professional English.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Own and deliver against Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) targets, ensuring a strong focus on measurable, pipeline-driven outcomes and alignment with overall business growth objectives.
Developed interpersonal skills including a proactive approach to resolving conflicts/ overcoming inefficiencies
Able to think independently and challenge/escalate issues in an appropriate manner
