The Lead Trust Administrator is responsible for the administration, retention, and growth of the Trust business by leading a team of Trust Administrators and Trust Specialists that develop and maintain a portfolio of important revenue generating client relationships within the defined affluent and high net worth market segments and/or Estate Settlement providing thought leadership and ultimately a superior customer experience. Develops the Trust Team through practice management including education & training, building and defining SLA's, and ensuring procedures are documented and align to the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Oversees and develops a team of Sr. Trust Administrators specialized in administering Trusts and estates, and other accounts in a fiduciary capacity for our high net- worth clients; serves as subject matter expert on fiduciary matters and high net-worth client specific issues.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of fiduciary administration.
  • Fosters growth, retention, and client satisfaction of the Trust business in partnership with Wealth Advisors with a deep understanding of high net-worth clients' needs and solutions.
  • Maintains and establishes policies and procedures to ensure the trust company makes prudent fiduciary decisions across the business, with respect to new business review, administration of accounts, and overall risk management for the division.
  • Monitors internal processes and fiduciary risk metrics and ensures timely, accurate completion of all administrative reviews, control partner requests and data remediation.
  • Ensures all new business fits within the fiduciary product/service set aligned to the proper channel and falls within established risk appetite.
  • Escalates key risk and fiduciary issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Accountable for sign-off on all Fiduciary approvals.
  • Supports design and execution of fiduciary training offerings and participates in management level committees.
  • Develops partnership and collaboration with internal business partners, including Portfolio Managers and Wealth Management Advisors, and participates in sales process and review of new business opportunities.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

2026-09-04Base Pay Range: $120,000/yr - $123,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
