Who We Are Looking
We are seeking a technically adept and business-savvy Technical Business Systems Analyst to support the design and delivery of digital solutions across our financial services platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems analysis and a proven track record of working on projects involving workflow and other low-code platforms. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of business needs and technical execution.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and validate business and technical requirements for new systems or enhancements.
- Low-Code Platform Engagement: Serve as a key analyst on projects involving low-code platforms, translating business needs into platform-specific configurations and workflows.
- Solution Design Support: Work with architects and developers to ensure requirements are accurately translated into scalable and compliant technical solutions.
- Testing & Implementation: Coordinate system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) activities. Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and deliverables.
What We Value
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience in financial services operations such as investment management, fund accounting, compliance, back office, or client onboarding.
- Hands-on experience working on projects that used Appian or other low-code platforms (e.g., Pega, OutSystems, Mendix etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, SQL and Excel.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably within the financial services industry.
- Certifications such as CSPO, CSM, CBAP or PMI-PBA are a plus but not required.
