Working Student - IT Outsourcing analyst (m/w/d)

Purpose: The Working Student will be responsible for supporting the automation and optimization of outsourcing activities, which are currently very manual, error-prone, and only partially covered. Additionally, the role will assist the IT Outsourcing Controlling & Oversight function, ensuring that outsourced IT services provided to the bank by both group-internal and external vendors are appropriately overseen. The scope includes all IT outsourcing activities across all branches in Europe.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance: Assist in ensuring adherence to EBA Outsourcing Guidelines by supporting the development and implementation of processes that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Process Automation: Help identify and drive the automation of manual outsourcing activities to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
  • Optimization: Support the optimization of existing outsourcing processes to enhance accuracy and coverage.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure that the automated and optimized processes meet regulatory and business requirements.
  • Documentation: Assist in maintaining comprehensive documentation of all processes, ensuring they are up-to-date and compliant with EBA guidelines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor and suggest improvements for outsourcing processes to ensure ongoing compliance and efficiency.
  • IT Outsourcing Oversight: Support the IT Outsourcing Controlling & Oversight function by ensuring outsourced IT services are appropriately overseen.
  • Risk Assessment: Assist in assessing the impact of IT Outsourcing activities, including associated risks, while taking relevant regulations into account (e.g., MaRisk, BAIT).
  • Governance Controls: Support the maintenance and enhancement of appropriate IT Outsourcing governance controls, including reporting, service reviews, and escalations.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Some relevant experience or coursework in Financial Services or IT Governance principles is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with process automation tools and techniques, as well as Microsoft Office applications (Co-Pilot. Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
  • Communication: Good communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English, with dual language proficiency in Italian or German preferred.
  • Duration of this role: Duration would be 12 months to 24 months with student status during the entire length of this program.
