The Data & Process Solutions team within SSGA Investment Operations is seeking a highly motivated, innovative process improvement professional to serve as a Data & Process Solutions Business Analyst, Senior Associate. This role will collaborate with partners across the firm to drive progress of our data and process improvement initiatives. The analysts will participate in the development of enhancements to the current platforms and any future versions of our platforms including analysis, requirements documentation, testing and rollout execution.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete business analysis for assigned projects (analyzing the processes, creating required documentation and requirements, suggesting process improvements)
• Lead the requirement gathering for assigned projects
• Communicate with partners to ensure key parties are aware of status, issues and changes
• Develop and execute test scripts in partnership with our quality assurance team
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization
• Actively stay current on industry trends and technologies that may impact our Process Solutions function
• Develop and maintain a strong network within the firm and industry in order to stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies

Additional Requirements

• Understanding of Business Process Management and Process Improvement
• Prior experience as a business analyst in financial services (3+ years)
• Ability to understand processes, data, control frameworks and the application of technology
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree
• Project Management or Process Improvement Credentials (e.g. PMP, Design Thinking, Lean)
• Experience with Agile Development and knowledge of Jira
• Knowledge of low code applications such as Appian
• Knowledge of artificial intelligence
