Job Summary
This Officer-level role is essential in the administration and oversight of trust structures, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and internal governance standards. The role requires interaction with professionals at all levels, both internally and externally, so excellent communication skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate strong initiative and the ability to independently manage projects from initiation through completion with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Trust Oversight & Administration
The following responsibilities are indicative and do not limit the assignment of additional tasks or projects within the scope of the employee’s experience and capabilities:
- Support the preparation and maintenance of trustee checklists, procedures, and control documentation.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to align trustee services with evolving business models and regulatory expectations.
- Serve as a point of contact for external stakeholders, including fund managers, auditors, and legal counsel.
- Carry out annual trust fund reviews and support the ongoing monitoring and oversight requirements of the trustee business, including the fund audit process, investment compliance monitoring, and FATCA/CRS filings and registrations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Client Services, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Legal) to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in projects as required providing proactive support as needed and taking accountability for timely and effective completion.
- Organize and participate in trustee and fiduciary governance meetings and prepare minutes.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Applicants should be Caymanians (and/or persons married to Caymanian).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is an asset.
- 3–5 years of experience in fiduciary, trustee, and/or fund administration roles.
- Familiarity with Cayman Islands trust structures and CIMA regulations preferred.
- Understanding of investment fund operations and governance frameworks.
- Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Compensation and Benefits
- The salary range is 70,000 KYD to 90,000 KYD
- Benefits include minimum statutory health and pension benefits.
