Software Engineering & Development (State Street Financial Services, Inc.; Atlanta, Georgia): Will provide electronic trading platforms for multiple asset classes. This is a hands-on backend developer position within a small elite development team that moves very fast. The products are built on Java, Node.js and Oracle on the server side. Specific duties of the position include: Writing clean and quality code; Design and implement features for Fund Connection applications; Deploy Fund Connection microservices to AWS; Work on integration and post production defect analysis and resolution; and Technical support for Fund Connection applications. Hybrid-remote telecommuting permitted pursuant to Company policy.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; plus 5 years of experience as a Software Developer or any other occupation/title providing relevant development experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master’s degree or its equivalent in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field; plus 3 years of experience as a Software Developer or any other occupation/title providing relevant development experience.

Must also have: Demonstrated knowledge and experience with core Java 11+ and JEE technologies such as concurrency, JDBC, or Spring; Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Node.js and GraphQL; Strong skills with Object Oriented design and code refactoring; Demonstrated knowledge and experience with functional and reactive programming (FRP); Demonstrated knowledge and experience with data modeling and database development (SQL, PL/SQL); Demonstrated knowledge and experience with microservices architecture and Kubernetes; and Strong communication skills and work ethic.
