The Custody Product organization is recruiting for a Custody Product Analyst to support the Americas Custody Product Management Team. State Street’s Product organization is leading an exciting period of transformation for the business and requires experienced Product Analyst’s to facilitate. The ideal candidate will be subject a matter expert who can analyze and evaluate organizational needs, identify and visually document strategic solutions and partner with internal teams to ensure optimal implementation

As a Custody Product Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the Americas Custody Product Management Team with managing client sentiment, managing product enhancement backlogs, inquiry analysis, and product and client solutioning. The Global Custody business is embarking on a period of significant change and potential digital innovation from market infrastructures and State Street is looking to play a leadership role in these market changes. The role requires subject matter expertise in the Global Custody space, the ability to work with complex clients, the ability to collaborate with internal teams to create organizational strategic solutions, the ability to drive analysis and the ability to document findings via presentation tools such as PowerPoint, Visio. The role reports to the head of Americas Custody Product.

The position provides a unique opportunity for the candidate to work across the custody business and contribute to the development of holistic and innovative programs. The broad perspective will position the candidate well for future growth opportunities within Product Organization. This role also provides exposure to global senior stakeholders, offering the ability to work closely with senior management and a diverse global team to drive our business to the next level.

The Custody Product Analyst will have responsibility for the following:

  • Work closely with the Americas Custody Product Managers to manage commercial growth and business development efforts

  • Manage and address client inquiries and provide required analysis.

  • Drive client/product solutioning engaging with relevant business stakeholder to achieve desired outcomes

  • Provide product domain expertise to the Product Managers in the day to day running of the business.

  • Support the documentation of new or enhanced products

  • Work with the Product Managers to identify areas for improvement of the core product.

Skills

  • Subject matter expertise of the Custody family of products; Global Custody, Direct Custody and associated FX and Cash products.

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to drive problem resolution.

  • Excellent communication skills and comfort with presenting to all levels within the organization.

  • Comfort level working and interacting with complex clients.

  • Working knowledge of data visualisation tools.

  • Effectively present information in one-on-one and group settings to either clients or internal stakeholders.

Excellent organizational skills and able to manage multiple responsibilities at any given time.

Experience

  • Seasoned Officer/AVP with 5+ years’ experience in Securities Services.

  • Prior experience working in Operations and/or Technology.

  • Consultative experience working with Institutional Investors.

  • Comfort with driving transformative agendas.

  • Strong team player who is comfortable working across complex organisations and collaborating with partners.

  • Excellent track record of executing for desired outcomes.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $132,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
