Who we are looking for

This senior management role at State Street Taipei Branch in the Investment Services Organization reports to the Taiwan Country Head. Key duties include managing client relationships, overseeing client service staffs, driving revenue growth, ensuring client satisfaction, safeguarding the legal entity, and maintaining service excellence.

What you will be responsible for

  • Provides support to the Taiwan Country Head in achieving company objectives and financial targets for Taiwan.

  • Manages client P&L and adopts a strategic approach to identify and prioritize opportunities that drive revenue, sales, and profitability growth, with emphasis on high-value accounts and long-term partnerships.

  • Acts as the point of contact for executive clients, holding ultimate responsibility for client relationships and ensuring exceptional levels of client satisfaction. Maintains a thorough understanding of each client's business nature and requirements, and effectively aligns State Street's capabilities to meet those needs.

  • Expands State Street's presence in Taiwan, maintaining leadership in collectives and targeting growth in insurance, asset owners, and government funds.

  • Ensures compliance with all policies, manages risks, upholds ethical standards, and protects the Legal Entity. Monitors client trends and escalates issues to management when needed.

  • Represents IS Taiwan at relevant meetings and oversees AML/KYC, controls, KPIs, audits, and SalesForce activities.

  • Supervises IS Taiwan Client Services and serves as deputy during the Country Head’s or team members’ absences.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Possesses a minimum of twenty years’ experience in Taiwan’s financial industry, with expertise in custody and fund servicing.

  • Comprehensive understanding of Taiwan’s regulatory environment, financial sector dynamics, and competitive segments (such as Asset Management and Insurance), supported by a robust professional network.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, effectively facilitating cross-departmental communication. Demonstrates well-developed general management capabilities and consistently upholds a professional attitude and image.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities: adept at supporting deal negotiations, addressing critical client inquiries and escalations, and delivering impactful presentations.

  • Highly detail-oriented; ensures timely, accurate, and consistent reporting with current information.

  • Exhibits professionalism and strategic thinking, tailoring content to align with organizational objectives and audience requirements.

  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel, with strong attention to detail.

  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English, with excellent written and spoken proficiency in each language.
