Role Summary & Role Description
- Architect, implement, and manage robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Secure cloud infrastructure with a focus on AWS and Azure platforms.
- Lead automation initiatives for cloud-native technologies, application deployments, and infrastructure provisioning.
- Design and implement containerization strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
- Oversee deployment, automation, and maintenance of cloud-based production systems.
- Develop and maintain security automation scripts to streamline IAM operations.
- Integrate and support Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Zero-Trust Architecture principles.
- Provide timely production support and incident response for IAM-related security events.
- Administer and maintain IAM platforms including Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, and Azure Active Directory.
- Monitor IAM systems for performance, security, and compliance, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.
- Lead IAM-related projects such as migrations, upgrades, and audits, driving cross-functional collaboration.
Required Skills & Experience
- Deep, hands-on experience in architecting and securing cloud environments, particularly on AWS, with a strong focus on implementation and operational excellence.
- Proven ability to design and build backend systems using Core Java 11, J2EE, Tomcat, and Spring Boot (including REST APIs, Microservices, AOP, and scheduling with Apache Quartz).
- Practical development experience in Python, Java, and Shell scripting, actively used for automation, integration, and infrastructure tasks.
- Strong working knowledge of DevOps practices, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and deploying containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and data workflows using Databricks and Apache Airflow.
- Applied understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience implementing secure, automated release processes.
- Direct experience integrating applications using SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and FIDO2, with a focus on secure identity federation and access control.
- In-depth, practical knowledge of directory services (Active Directory, LDAP), IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and cloud IAM platforms (Azure AD, AWS IAM).
- Experience managing identity governance, access certification, and compliance-driven IAM operations.
- Strong scripting capabilities in Python, PowerShell, and Perl, used to automate and streamline IAM and cloud operations.
Core/Must have skills :
- 14+ years of IT Experience
- 6+ years of AWS Cloud Development
- 7+ years of experience in Core Java 11, J2EE, Tomcat, Spring Boot framework like Spring Core, Spring REST, Spring MS,Spring AOP,Apache Quartz
- 5+ years of experience in development with Python, Java and Shell Script
- 5+ year of experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- 1+ years of experience in AirFlow
- 2+ years of databricks experience
- Working experience with DevSecOps, automation releases, CI/CD pipelines would be an added advantage
- Hands-on experience (at least 5 years) integrating applications using industry standards such as SAML/OIDC/OAuth/FIDO2.
- Strong understanding ofDirectory services (Active Directory, LDAP),IAM protocols and standards (SAML, OAuth, OpenID),Cloud IAM (Azure, AWS IAM) and Identity governance and access certification
- Experience with programming or scripting is a plus, e.g. Python, PowerShell, Power Script, Perl Script etc
