What you will be responsible for
As a Regulatory Trade Reporting Specialist - Assistant Vice President you will:
Assist the Regulatory Reporting Operations team with day-to-day operational issues and escalations related to regulatory trade reporting.
Partner with project teams and IT to ensure operational readiness for initiatives impacting reporting processes.
Provide program oversight for key regulatory reporting initiatives, escalating risks and issues to senior management in a timely and effective manner.
Represent the firm in discussions with external counterparties and industry forums, offering subject matter expertise and identifying opportunities to enhance internal reporting practices.
Interpret regulatory requirements and collaborate with business and technology teams to implement necessary reporting changes.
Assist with the design and implementation of efficient, scalable regulatory reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with best practices.
Conduct root cause and gap analyses, gather requirements, design solutions, and produce comprehensive business requirement documentation.
Ensure all changes impacting reporting obligations adhere to established governance and control frameworks.
Facilitate prioritization discussions with stakeholders and delivery leads, managing the system enhancement pipeline.
Promote a culture of risk excellence by embedding risk awareness and accountability into daily operations.
Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational goals.

Education / Experience
BS, BA, BBA, or equivalent
12 + years of relevant work experience
Experience in regulatory reporting, risk management, compliance, audit, control experience preferred.
Regulatory reporting awareness and exposure to any of the following: MiFID II, EMIR, CFTC, CSA, KRX, MAS, ASIC, HKMA regulations is preferred.
Knowledge of industry regulatory requirements.
Contribute to a wide variety of initiatives as a dependable and flexible resource.
Maintain working knowledge of overall process operating/IT model and assist with deployment of operational changes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – PP, Teams, Word, Excel, Access
