State Street Markets Corporate Programs Analyst (AVP)

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will work with business leaders and teams to enable and expedite Markets participation in Corporate Programs. The candidate will reduce administrative burdens while shepherding the business teams through the frameworks, workflow and processes in a consistent and risk-appropriate manner .

State Street Markets Corporate Programs Analyst will support the business area with meeting the Corporate Program requirements. The central support analyst will manage, coordinate and ensure alignment across Markets for like engagements/ application and activities. The role of the Corporate Programs analyst will be to assume some administrative activities to reduce the business owners time commitment. This position will liaise with key stakeholders, business subject matter experts, business risk and compliance teams to effectively manage risk and build consistency across Markets.

Why this role is important to us

The Markets Product Management team leads and executes strategy implementation; design, development and implementation of client facing product, trading infrastructure and operational models. The team also facilitates Markets’ participation in Firmwide Corporate Programs such Data Governance, Procurement, Third party Risk Management “TPRM” and Information Security Risk Management “ISRMP programs.

What you will be responsible for

And below are the roles and responsibilities:

  • Supports the Business Teams, Business owners, and Executive Sponsor with corporate risk management program tasks.
  • Development of standardization across Markets’ corporate risk engagements resulting in consistent risk measurement & appropriate treatment across like engagements/applications and activities.
  • Liaison between corporate program lead, business risk, information security office and the business owner.
  • Identifies thematic redundancies, issues, anomalies and areas of improvements in the programs, and works to document and propose solutions.
  • Assists with procurement, TPRM and ISRMPS risk assessments.
  • Reviews findings for risk programs, proposes path forward, supports timely remediation and closure efforts.
  • Coordination of ongoing monitoring activities for high/very high-risk third-party.
  • engagements/applications and activities with Business owners.
  • Coordinate with other support teams such as Business Continuity, Information Security Officers (ISOs) and GCS for issue resolution and workflow progression.
  • Ensure timely documentation and submission of corporate programs requirements/assessments and issues.
  • Maintain accurate records in the Application Inventory Warehouse (AIW) insuring Business Owner is correctly identified and updated as necessary

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong financial services sector background/experience in Multi-National Banks preferred (8+ years of experience)
  • Previous experience with third party risk management and/or procurement is highly valued.
  • Experience with information and business risk management.
  • Experience with Archer a plus.
