Role Summary & Role Description

As an Associate Vice President (AVP) in Global Cybersecurity Services (GCS), you will partner with business product owners to prioritize features, define scope, and deliver incremental business value along with managing each project’s scope and timeline. You will have to tie together themes across all efforts that you are directly involved in (including but not limited to Dependency identification and management). You will also play the role of scrum Master / Agile Delivery lead for multiple cross-functional teams. Drive Agile ceremonies(daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, backlog refinement). And help software development teams apply the Scrum framework.

Experience: 15+ years of IT experience with at least 4+ years as a scrum master.

Responsibilities:

  • Play the role of scrum Master / Agile Delivery lead for multiple cross-functional teams
  • Manage each project’s scope and timeline
  • Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings and daily stand-ups
  • Weekly reporting across areas of control
  • Coach team members in Agile frameworks
  • Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
  • Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or stakeholders)
  • Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
  • Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
  • Help teams implement changes effectively
  • Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
  • Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
  • Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it

Core/Must have skills

Someone who has been a scrum master over multiple efforts (concurrently) and will BE a scrum master

High level understanding and usage of Atlassian suite to not only run but recommend improvements

Familiarity with software development

Excellent knowledge of scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement)

Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (Crystal, XP etc.)

Excellent communication and servant leadership skills

Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability

Outstanding organizational skills

Degree in Computer Science, Business or similar field

Scrum master certification is a plus

Good to have skills

Extensive experience with cloud technologies and modern human-computer interfaces

Ensure compliance with security regulations

Hands on experience in at least one technology Stack (Java, Python, Cloud or Data Engineering)

Solid understanding of enterprise architecture, APIs, microservices, DevOps, and cloud platforms

Leadership abilities with a strategic mind

Excellent project management skills

MS in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field

Work Schedule

Hybrid, 4-day work from office
