Who we are looking for:
Senior level management role within State Street’s Alternative Investment Solutions (AIS) Business Unit with a focus on Transfer Agency Operations for Registered products. This role requires senior level executive interaction within State Street and with State Street’s largest and most strategic clients, therefore, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate initiative and transformational leadership, be able to perform well under pressure and be capable of managing multiple, diverse assignments.
As a Registered Transfer Agency Operations for Alternatives Senior Vice President, you will:
Drive a culture of innovation and transformation while partnering with Business leaders to establish a team focused on Registered Transfer Agency for Alternative products and design strategic plans that align with the company vision and goals and obtain buy-in from all staff.
Implement a strong management team for day-to-day service delivery and operational risk management across a range of businesses, supported by teams globally.
Implement a scalable target operating model focused on Registered Transfer Agency for Alternative products, leveraging a global footprint to optimize cost benefits and implement a follow-the-sun approach to deliver a truly global support model.
Challenge employees to think creatively and demonstrate the advantages of a global operating model and utilizing technology within our operational areas.
Partner with Senior Fund Accounting leads of key client relationships that are moving into registered alternative products to develop a transfer agency service focused on this growing product segment.
Key leader in new business reviews, to ensure new business aligns to our existing operating model and effectively drives operational efficiencies and profit margins.
Leverage KPI management to ensure all businesses are aligned with SLAs and client expectations.
Develop leaders and create sustainable succession plans for self and direct reports.
Ensure process and procedures are adequate to meet quality standards and are consistently applied and regularly reviewed.
Provide support for and effectively communicate broad overall company initiatives and goals to managers and staff within span of control.
Responsible for developing department budget and staffing projections. Complete staffing proposals for newly awarded business.
Represent the organization internally and externally as a senior level manager of State Street.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Candidates must hold a college degree (accounting degree strongly preferred; business, mathematics, finance or economics degree) and 15+ years’ experience managing global operations in a financial services firm or for an outsource provider managing large global teams.
Proven track record of delivering transformation, driving operational efficiencies & creating scale across global operational teams via a culture of continuous improvement.
Experience of building, calibrating, and managing to Service Level Agreements with external clients or internal stakeholders
Experience in operational organizational design and execution.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and track record of strategic problem-solving
Candidates must possess solid business unit management experience on complex clients requiring a high level of client interaction.
Additional Requirements
Knowledge of Private Credit Fund structures (traditional closed ended funds, private hybrid funds, SMA’s, and registered semi-liquid fund structures), designs & hierarchies, standalone funds, master-feeder funds, and the role of each entity in the fund structure.
Familiarity with Geneva and Investran is a plus.

Salary Range:
$225,000 - $337,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
