Who we are looking for

This dynamic role is for the Corporate Functions, Markets & Finance Business Resilience Risk team acting as the Business Continuity Director (BCD) who has global responsibility for the oversight and execution primarily of State Street Markets (SSM) continuity program including:

  • Serve as a Resilience Manager, accountable for the SSM Global Business Continuity Program (BCP) and crisis management activities.
  • Partnering with Enterprise Resilience Office (ERO) and Business Heads to develop continuity plans that are in compliance with program standards and regulatory expectations
  • Maintain familiarity with the content of all Enterprise Resilience documents including when major changes / enhancements are made
  • Identify key risks and gaps in the resilience program and coordinate remediation plans with key stakeholders
  • Support Senior Management in responses to audit inquiries, RFPs and clients due diligence requests
  • Present on BCP conformity / risk at relevant first line governance committees; Plan, prepare, and lead executive program sign off meetings
  • Oversee recovery solution testing globally for SSM
  • Manage the Recovery & Resolution Planning Service Taxonomy, which is the foundation for Business Continuity mapping.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 10 years of experience in Resiliency, Business Continuity, or Risk Management
  • Knowledgeable in Recovery and Resolution Planning is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
  • Superb organizational, time management, problem solving and analytical skills
  • Solid ability to negotiate skillfully in tough situations and engage with all management levels
  • Strategic perspective on issues and understand upstream and downstream impact
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel & PowerPoint)

Salary Range:

$110,000 - $170,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
