Role Summary & Role Description:
Chief Data Office (CDO) - Global Technology Solutions at State Street is rolling out Shared Services initiative to standardize features used in multiple Enterprise Workstations across the firm. This initiative will deliver scalable, configurable, resilient shared services that accelerate product development, reduce redundant effort, and improve consistency across engineering teams.
We are looking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead new programs for our CDO organization.
Role Description:
Guides leaders and teams in agile execution to meet strategic and operational objectives; aligns agile ways of working to the org design for value agility; reinforces psychological safety and collaboration; applies flow metrics traceable to investment outcomes; aligns sprint goals and delivery reviews with OKRs and VRM maturity measures.
Champions product mindset in team delivery practices to meet value outcomes; aligns agile ceremonies to organizational design for agility; fosters safe, transparent collaboration; uses flow and quality metrics traceable to investment; ensures team metrics are tied to OKR and VRM goals.
Infuses product thinking into cadences; facilitates story mapping and outcome‑oriented refinement; enforces DoR/DoD that reflect customer value.

Coaches teams and team leads in agile mindset, flow thinking, and continuous improvement; facilitates feedback loops that build ownership and accountability.
Removes impediments and reduces decision latency; manages dependencies and risk visibility across teams
- Define & coordinate Agile Methodologies for the Application implementation using standard and modern tools
- Facilitate Product Planning, manage Milestone/Roadmap, RAID logs
- Facilitating which features to develop based on impact and feasibility.
- Coordinate with various stakeholder group across regions to engage with the agile ceremonies such as daily scrum calls & scrum of scrums, backlog refinement, retros, planning & release management
- Developing and publish progress dashboards with key metrics, providing periodic reports to different group of stakeholders, and proposing ways/processes to optimize delivery outcomes and velocity
- Effectively conveying ideas, challenges, proposals and working with diverse and distributed teams
Core/Must have skills:
- Overall 12+ yrs of experience with 5+ yrs of Agile Scrum Master, working as Servant Leader for Transformation Initiatives.
- Strong knowledge on SDLC processes and Agile Methodology Implementation.
- Advance hands-on experience on Jira, Confluence, X-Ray, Figjam and other tools to plan, execute, monitor, and track progress.
- Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving
Preferred Certifications:
- PSM II (or CSM) — Scrum Master
- SAFe SSM or SASM — SAFe Scrum Master/Advanced SM
- Kanban University: KMP I & II (Kanban Management Professional)
- ICP‑ACC or ICP‑ATF (Agile Coaching / Team Facilitation)
- LeSS Practitioner
- OKR Practitioner/Coach (for outcome alignment)
Good to have skills:
Good Communication, Stakeholder Management and knowledge of Data Engineering, Full Stack end-user-facing Application build-out, Experience on Transformation Programs
