This managerial position has responsibility for managing the day to day Fund Accounting administration service ensuring that all deliverables are produced and delivered on time and in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- The Assistant Vice President (AVP) will manage the accounting NAV delivery process ensuring that all deliverables are quality controlled and delivered on time, in accordance with client service level agreements. Key responsibilities include:
- NAV production and dissemination
- Cash and Stock escalation
- Client and regulatory reporting
- Accounting query resolution
- Error resolution and reporting
- Manage new fund setup, fund termination and other fund events
- Manage relevant projects/initiatives
- Review and update department operational processes, to ensure controls remain effective and account for dynamic changes in client requirements, mitigating operational risk wherever possible.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to service our clients.
- Collaborate with Transformation design initiatives to identify and create efficiencies through technological enhancements and development.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Primary Degree or a Professional or Accounting qualification or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of experience within Fund Administration (Japan ITM funds/ETF) preferred in particular
- Experience in operations of asset management companies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communications and organizational skills
- Project Management skills preferred
- Familiarity with the asset management industry and relevant regulations / association rules
- Advanced knowledge of T-Star/TX
- Native Japanese
- English language skills
- Broad knowledge of fund investments including foreign domiciled funds (preferred)
