A candidate with two to three years of accounting or operations experience in a financial institution or asset manager. The successful candidate will be comfortable with a structured yet dynamic environment where attention to detail, creativity and thinking on your feet matter equally. You will work with colleagues around the world and private equity clients that demand the best performance. You should have an accounting or finance education and ideally have prior experience in private equity.

Our team operates between the accounting and treasury teams and is responsible for keeping payments and operations running smoothly in the midst of a constant flow of communication. We have to find what is relevant and focus on completing it while keeping alert to new information that may impact our current task. The team you will be joining is a part of the alternative investments Middle Office, a function that is vital to the company because we enable the success of our broader alternative investments services business.
What you will be responsible for
As a Middle Office Senior Associate, you will:
Monitor incoming communication relating to new investment activity
Allocate payment information to complex investment structures
Prepare outbound communications for approval and processing
Coordinate and follow up as needed to meet processing deadlines
Contribute your ideas and energy to process improvements and achieving excellence

Education & Preferred Qualifications
A degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
Two to three years of relevant experience
Certificates relating to alternative investments or a CPA are a plus
Knowledge of accounting systems and report writers are a plus
Work Requirement
Working on site in Princeton, NJ is preferred but some flexibility for Clifton, NJ and partial hybrid.
Salary Range:
$52,000 - $94,120 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
