Who we are looking for
Corporate Compliance Team in State Street Bank International GmbH, Poland Branch is seeking to recruit an experienced Compliance Regulatory and Control Testing Senior Analyst, Officer, Hybrid in Krakow, Poland.
The candidate will work with a team of professionals to develop and execute regulatory testing and controls testing to provide reasonable assurance that State Street Bank International GmbH is complying with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. You will contribute to SSBI Compliance Monitoring a& Testing plan development, and lead the execution of strategically important monitoring and testing activities. This position is perfect for an individual who has experience with risk assessment, internal controls, and/or compliance or audit functions.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home (2 days) and office (3 days) to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As Compliance Regulatory and Control Testing Senior Analyst you will:
Assist with process walkthroughs and design monitoring and testing activities for areas deemed to be of higher focus within a particular risk
Leverage the division’s methodology to independently identify and evaluate risk, determine control objectives and verify the extent to which State Street is meeting regulatory requirements
Obtain and analyze evidentiary data as a basis for drafting an informed, objective opinion as to the adequacy and effectiveness of business controls or whether a regulatory obligation has been breached
Maintain thorough and well-organized workpapers to support the work executed, including evidence of exceptions identified
Contribute to drafting reports in accordance with internal standards to clearly communicate results, risks, and key issues
Maintain current knowledge of regulators’ focus areas, recent enforcement actions, and industry practices generally
Perform other tasks as required

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Verbal and written fluency in English
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
Relevant work experience in a corporate testing or audit function within the financial services sector and/or related experience managing complex audit operations or related projects
Understanding of custody and asset servicing/management business.
Understanding of business’ strategies, products, services and operating processes.
