Who we are looking for

As part of our business expansion in Luxembourg we are looking for an experienced Regulatory reporting professional to join the Regulatory Reporting team. This position has responsibility for the review of Regulatory Reports.

Under the supervision of the “Unit Head - Financial and Regulatory Reporting”, the Senior Associate will play a key management role when ensuring that quality deliverables are sent to Regulators and/or our clients. The Luxembourg team leverages a delegated service model with part of the functions outsourced to our outsourced location(s). On one side, the team member will take directions from the senior team members and on the other, the team member will guide the Hub Regulatory Reporting team according to department and bank strategy.

In close relation with the other Fund Reporting Team Leads, team member will ensure that the assigned client-base (incl. the related stakeholders such as Regulators) is serviced according to best practice and market standards. This includes e.g. that new demands or specific projects are adequately reflected in the overall development queue of the department.

What you will be responsible for

  • Have efficient communication with other departments (such as fund groups), optimising data feeds / troubleshooting for the department.

  • Review Regulatory Reports in accordance with Regulators requirements and within the deadline. Maximise outcomes and mitigate risk linked to an oversight model.

  • Research, resolve and/or take appropriate actions to avoid recurrence of errors

  • Actively contribute to the team’s deliverables with accuracy and timeliness on a daily basis

  • Autonomously identify conflicting demands and prioritise them based on service needs.

  • Identify weaknesses in the workflows and come up with proposals for enhancements.

  • Be part of project activities ( (i.e. client on-boarding, milestone planning).

  • Manage the assigned regulator/client relationships and ensure service excellence especially by consistently looking for improvements and alternative solutions that would enhance the existing process chain (automation, set-up, scalability, etc.).

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor/University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  • Min 5 years of experience in Accounting, Regulatory reporting or Funds industry

  • Expertise and knowledge the Fund industry - fund accounting principles, financials and derivatives instruments

  • Knowledge around German Regulatory reporting applicable for the relevant funds (VAG, GroMikV and Solva).
