Who we are looking for
Part of State Street Bank International (SSBI) Oversight for State Street Markets Operations, this position will be responsible for assisting in overseeing the administration of this business structure, especially in relation to SSBI Outsourcing requirements. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide administrative support to the Business as it relates to Outsourcing Oversight across various Markets business areas in SSBI.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for
As an Outsourcing Officer, you will:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Outsourcing topics for State Street Markets team in SSBI. This includes regular touchpoints with the SSBI Outsourcing Office, Compliance, etc and acting as a main point of contact for Outsourcing questions across all Markets business areas in SSBI
- Provide Outsourcing related training to State Street Markets Business in SSBI (training on Outsourcing Policy and Standard updates, regulatory updates, etc.)
- Assist the Business with administrative tasks in relation to Outsourcing topics (monitoring & testing conducted by Outsourcing Office, Internal / External Auditors’ reviews, etc)
- Administer SSBI Markets evidence related to Outsourcing (e.g. SLAs, meeting minutes, meeting decks, Outsourcing procedures)
- Perform checks aimed at ensuring quality and compliance of SSBI Markets with Outsourcing requirements
- Maintain State Street Markets outsourcing inventory for SSBI
- Follow up on action items in relation to issues and incidents related to Outsourcing governance
- There will also be an opportunity to get involved in wider business initiatives for State Street Markets Operations in SSBI and the role will provide good exposure to SSBI Markets, Business Risk Management, Compliance, etc.
- Ensure the outsourcing documentation is complete and updated
- Perform defined internal controls throughout the phases of the lifecycle of the outsourcing arrangements, including the planning, implementation, monitoring and management of outsourcing arrangements.
- Taking appropriate corrective or remedial action if shortcomings in the provision of the outsourced functions are identified, including by following up on an indication that service providers may not be carrying out the outsourced function effectively or in compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure the Outsourcing Portfolio Manager and other relevant stakeholders are promptly informed of persisting or material shortcomings in the provision of an outsourced functions .
- Co-participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products within his/her department

Additional requirements
- Regulatory knowledge around EBA guidelines on outsourcing arrangements is preferred but not mandatory
