Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a mid-level application developer with experience in Java, Oracle, Messaging protocols, and WebUI technologies. This is a hands-on developer position within a small development team in a very-fast-paced environment. The position is for a mid-level to senior developer to be involved in sophisticated software development.
What you will be responsible for:
Work closely with Product owners, use current technologies where appropriate, and implement full life-cycle, full stack development tasks.
Develop enhancement and support the ongoing evolution of State Street's industry-leading foreign exchange trading and supporting services.
Write comprehensive documentation, unit tests and fix review comments from Senior developers.
Core/Must have skills:
Expert-level knowledge of server-side Java, including Multithreading, Concurrency etc.
Excellent knowledge of Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
Excellent knowledge of Oracle – SQL, PL-SQL, deadlock issues, performance issues.
Working experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins / JFrog / Bitbucket / GIT.
Very hands-on, great attention to detail, good team player.
Good to have skills:
Prior experience working in Forex/Banking platforms or related domains is a plus.
Knowledge or working experience on FIX protocols.
Good knowledge of and working experience with Web Socket (WSS) protocol.
Nice to have: Good knowledge of and working experience with messaging brokers such as Rabbit, Kafka, Sonic MQ, Active MQ.
Nice to have: Good knowledge of and working experience with Web UI frameworks and programming languages such as TypeScript, ReactJS.
