  • Responsible for supporting the EMEA Events team on the regional implementation of the client events strategy for large industry and proprietary events. This role is based in London.

  • This role will work closely with senior management, business and channel heads and sales / client relationship teams to activate the event strategy and increase engagement with key stakeholders externally.

  • Driving operational excellence within the events team – implementation of global best practices and efficiency through maintaining and enhancing control procedures.

  • Actively partnering with key regional vendors, consultants and outsourced providers to provide cost effective and innovative methods of operation.

  • The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, global environment – while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. They must also demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills.

What you will be responsible for

Supporting the Head of International Events and Sponsorship and the EMEA Event Managers implement and execute 20-30 event engagements per year. As the Events Coordinator you will lead on:

  • Logistics, production, communications, list management and budgets (including invoicing).

  • Vendor management including governance and due diligence requirements.

  • Compliance and legal contract submissions and adherence.

  • Regional reporting including calendaring, budget reconciliation, event evaluations and metrics.

  • Partnering with global events colleagues as well as marketing channel leads to ensure alignment across client event experience.

  • Event consultancy for business-led tier 2 events. Provide guidance to ensure delivery is adhering to event standards and procedure.

  • Support the implementation of each event integrated marketing approach including PR, social, content strategy, client and internal communications, lead generation and marketing analytics.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years experience with project managing event programs; preferably in B2B financial services environment.

  • Experience in event engagement and sentiment analytics.

  • Considerable knowledge of vendor and third-party project management and negotiation.

  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools such as Salesforce and Cvent events platform.

  • Experience with social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook).

  • Experience in digital events tools, both collaboration and virtual events platforms.

  • Self-sufficient, prepared to work on both strategic and tactical activities; ability to work autonomously.

  • Moderate experience with video and podcasting platforms and the associated promotion of posted content.

  • Willing to manage schedule; occasional weekends and evenings required.

  • 20-30% travel; assessed in accordance with recent and updated company policies.
