About the role
Investment Administration Insourcing Services (IAIS) Simcorp Fund Operations Specialist will engage in various projects, specific analyses and initiatives related to technical aspects of the fund administration business. This person provides technical support to teams and Manager to ensure all deliverables are produced and dispatched on time in accordance with client service level agreements and agreed quality standards.
Your new role
As a Simcorp Fund Operations Specialist, Senior Associate you will:
Take responsibility for quality of service, internal controls for all team deliverables. Demonstrate ownership of team's tasks completion and their efficient split among staff, especially when ad-hoc changes are required due to the nature of Fund Administration work.
Review fund components, analyze and resolve discrepancies.
Act as a central point of contact for technical issues (identification, support resolution, track trends and escalate, risk identification and actions).
Ensure that Key Performance Indicators are produced and dispatched to Oversight as required.
Participate as technical Subject Matter Expert in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and products relating to ongoing business transformation process, provide regular progress reports and give feedback during project meetings.
Act as a source of technical expertise on Fund Administration systems.
Provide timely and professional responses to all inquiries.
Contribute to analysis and planning of Fund Administration Operating Model with the aim of standardizing processes and establishing best practices.
Provide technical and planning support for fund events, including new business transitions to Poland, ensure proper governance and controls are in place, perform post-transition analysis to identify process gaps.
Demonstrate flexibility by supporting various client groups as well as contributing to a range of projects.
Deliver training sessions to staff, support other team members in onboarding and development process.
Review corporate documentation on processes, procedures and controls, initiate remedial action as necessary; ensure documentation exists for any client-specific procedures.
Act on ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Good computer literacy and very good working knowledge of MS Office

Education and experience:
Preferred Accountancy or Business related degree
2+ years of experience in fund administration or equivalent area is required
Considered an advantage:
Intermediate German
VBA skills
Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension fund accounting system
