Automation Test Engineer - Senior Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Automation Test Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, REST API testing, and Database validation. You will be responsible for designing robust automation frameworks and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
- Perform REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Conduct database validations using SQL queries to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and work with development teams to resolve them.
- Continuously improve test processes and contribute to best practices in automation.
Required Skills:
- Strong programming skills in Java.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Proficiency in Cucumber and BDD frameworks.
- Experience with REST API testing and tools like RestAssured or Postman.
- Good understanding of SQL and experience in database testing.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.
Good to Have:
- Knowledge of Java Design Patterns and their application in test automation.
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker).
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and working in Scrum teams.
- Experience in Tosca is additional plus
