The Senior Vice President of Sales, North America, is responsible for driving a high-performance sales culture across the region, aligning strategic initiatives with the evolving needs of our clients. This executive will lead a dynamic team, foster accountability, and serve as a key member of the North American leadership group.
The team you will be joining is a part of State Street Investment Services (SSIS). SSIS gives asset owners and managers access to the essential financial tools they need to deliver effective investment solutions. From core custody, accounting, fund administration and shareholder recordkeeping, to complete operations solutions and servicing for alternative assets like OTC derivatives, private equity and real estate, SSIS’ tools help our clients make better investment choices and act on growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver and exceed annual sales and revenue targets for North America by developing and executing robust regional sales strategies, and holding the team accountable for results.
Drive revenue growth, meet or surpass sales targets, and build a strong pipeline of opportunities across the region.
Lead and inspire a North America-based sales team focused on new business development, including researching opportunities, initiating discussions, building relationships, managing the sales process, and closing deals.
Cultivate new senior-level relationships at target firms within North America, introducing the company’s value proposition and generating new business opportunities.
Oversee the sales process from prospecting to close, including lead generation, client meetings, prospect qualification, and RFP completion.
Collaborate with product, marketing, relationship management, operations, legal, and risk teams to ensure alignment with corporate and regional goals.
Monitor and communicate competitor activity within North America, identifying strengths and weaknesses relative to our offerings.
Represent the company at industry events and client meetings across the region.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree (or equivalent) preferred.
12+ years of successful sales experience, including 5+ years in senior management, strategy, and stakeholder influence within North America.
Deep financial services background; experience in Asset Servicing or related fields is a plus.
Demonstrated success in delivering regional sales targets and competing aggressively for new and existing clients.
Experience building, developing, and engaging high-performing regional teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; high level of professionalism.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding financial goals.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to influence colleagues and virtual teams.
Willingness to travel extensively across North America.
Salary Range:
$225,000 - $337,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
