The role will play a key leadership role in managing and enhancing the AOPM (Asset Owner Private Market) function, ensuring seamless delivery of administration, Performance and operational services for asset owner clients. The role requires strong client management skills, deep knowledge of investment operations of private markets, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives that enhance efficiency, control, and client experience.

As an AVP in AOPM, you will:
Safeguard the integrity of our clients’ investment operations by overseeing processes that ensure data accuracy, control, and compliance.
Strengthen client relationships by acting as a trusted partner who anticipates needs and resolves issues proactively.
Drive efficiency and innovation, shaping how we scale and evolve our services for asset owner clients across diverse asset classes.
Play a pivotal role in developing talent and building the next generation of operational leaders within our team.

What you will be responsible for:
Client & Service Management
Act as a primary escalation point for asset owner clients, addressing issues across document management, cash processing, valuation services, and performance reporting.
Oversee timely and accurate delivery of core services (e.g., receipt and processing of capital statements, financial statements, and cash notices from GPs/fund managers).
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners (custodians, fund managers, auditors).
Operational Leadership
Lead a team responsible for AOPM service delivery, ensuring adherence to SLAs and high-quality standards.
Monitor daily operations across multiple products including private equity, private credit, and other alternative investments, ensuring effective risk and control frameworks are applied.
Implement process improvements, automation, and standardization to increase efficiency and reduce operational risks.
People Management
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen capabilities and retain talent.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Manage resource planning and capacity to balance business-as-usual (BAU) delivery with strategic projects.
Business Development & Strategy
Support business growth by identifying opportunities to expand AOPM service offerings and improve the client experience.
Partner with senior leadership to shape long-term strategy, balancing short-term operational excellence with long-term development goals.
Contribute to new client onboarding, due diligence, and RFP support as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, CAIA) preferred.
8+ years of experience in investment operations, fund administration, or asset owner services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of private markets (PE, VC, private credit, infrastructure, real estate) and traditional asset classes.
Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver against complex service requirements.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across senior levels.
