- Our Index & Strategic Partnerships team sits within our Innovation Hub at the intersection of innovation, influence, and execution. We are responsible for managing and expanding State Street’s most critical B2B relationships - those that drive growth, unlock new markets, and shape the future of our business. These partnerships are global in scope, multi-dimensional in structure, and strategically vital to our long-term success. They span across executive leadership, sales, marketing, product, and capital markets, and require a unique blend of strategic thinking and operational excellence.

Our team designs and executes partnership plans that align strategic goals, deepen engagement, and deliver measurable outcomes for both State Street and our partners. Success is built on close collaboration with our external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and sustained impact.

- You’ll be based in our Boston office, and collaborating with our teams globally.
Role Overview
- Lead the execution of strategic high-impact partnerships driving maximum commercial value to grow the collective franchise
- Drive innovation and build new initiatives to grow assets collectively with our third-party partners
- Build internal connectivity across, marketing, product, and capital markets to enhance efficiency
- Coordinate stakeholder communications and facilitate partner engagements with executive and senior leadership
- Develop and maintain global partner plans, including relationship management and strategic priorities
- Execute governance models, including executive-level engagements and recurring governance forums
- Serve as a central point of contact and escalation for assigned partnerships
- Support strategic partnerships with analytical analysis and reports
- Collaborate across geographies and time zones, demonstrating adaptability in a global business environment
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re seeking intellectually curious, relationship-driven individuals with a passion for asset management and strategic execution. Qualifications include: A strong interest in building a long-term career in Asset Management
- Familiarity with Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) and/or the broader asset management industry is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Analytical acumen and a structured approach to problem-solving
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across functions
- Experience working across global teams
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Salesforce is a plus
- A proactive, “can-do” attitude and a commitment to excellence

Salary Range:
$115,000 - $190,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
Employees are eligible to participate in State Street’s comprehensive benefits program, which includes: our retirement savings plan (401K) with company match; insurance coverage including basic life, medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and other optional additional coverages; paid-time off including vacation, sick leave, short term disability, and family care responsibilities; access to our Employee Assistance Program; incentive compensation including eligibility for annual performance-based awards (excluding certain sales roles subject to sales incentive plans); and, eligibility for certain tax advantaged savings plans.
