As the first rotation, you will be part of the EMEA Business Risk & Resilience team who are responsible for providing a holistic view of the risk and control environment State Street IM operates in. Your work will help support the business in improving controls, culture and governance and ensure the business is able to position itself effectively to satisfactorily meet regulatory expectations and requirements.
We are looking for an ambitious, hardworking and self-reliant individual to work across our International Product and EMEA Business Risk & Resilience Teams.
In your second rotation, you will be part of our Product team. State Street Investment Management manages and is a promoter of around 350 European funds in multiple domiciles (Luxembourg, UK, Ireland and France). The International Product team is responsible for product strategy and development as well as range management for all European funds.
As an intern working in the International Product Teams, you will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders across the full Product ecosystem and lifecycle covering research and innovation to product development. Your scope of responsibilities will be to support the respective teams to execute day-to-day tasks aligned to the firm’s strategic initiatives, including supporting the development and launch of new European funds and range management projects.

Primary Responsibilities
Business and Technology Risk & Resilience:
Assisting in the global Controls Rationalisation, Assurance and Testing programme
Assist in production of Governance reporting materials and help to develop, improve, and automate reporting capabilities.
Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making.
Collaborating with colleagues and subject matter experts to review the impact of new or proposed regulations on IM’s business, documenting assessments, and performing gap analysis
Assist in identification, documentation and resolution of issues and incidents.
Contribute to a wide variety of initiatives as a dependable and flexible resource.
International Product team:
Develop, support, and execute on State Street IM’s EMEA product roadmap and provide insights into the global product roadmap, including in relation to sustainable investing.
Assist the International Product team on product strategy, developing business cases, product design features and supporting Fund and ETF launches. Work cross-functionally to develop and position the firm's EMEA product range.
Program dates: 22nd June 2026 – 21st June 2027
You must be available to participate in the program in person in the United Kingdom, starting from day one and for its full duration. Additionally, you are required to work from the office 4 days a week.

Excel knowledge. VBA/Macro coding skills are a plus.
Strong Microsoft Office Packages skills.
Collaboration will be an important part of the role both across departments and jurisdictions.
Ability to demonstrate initiative and work independently; aptitude to self-direct and set priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in AI and how this can be implemented to improve business processes.
Strategic Thinking: Analyze complex market segments and develop actionable sales strategies.

You will have strong analytical skills and a positive organized approach.
Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills.
Risk excellence mindset and understanding of how Risk, Controls and Governance support the effectiveness and success of a large Asset Manager.
Education:
Third year students enrolled in full time undergraduate education currently in the penultimate year of their degree, in one of the following areas: Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Databases, or a related field.
