Who we are looking for:

An experienced leader for our Global Markets – Static Data team responsible for managing a team of static data providing end to end operations support to our global front office and middle office teams. Should possess extensive knowledge and experience on securities, counterparties, settlement instructions, rates, products, and related financial attributes

This role involves a mix of data stewardship, people leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and process enhancement. Will require to work closely with Global Markets’ Business teams, Functional teams, Business Risk, Compliance and Technology teams on day to day basis to ensure seamless BAU.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Static Data Management

  • Oversee Static Data teams and daily requests ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Conduct periodic data audits, identify discrepancies, and initiate remediations.

  • Team Leadership & Governance

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of specialists—handling performance, staffing, and coaching.

  • Define and enforce data governance policies, quality controls, and SOPs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Liaise with Payments, Trade, Middle Office, Compliance, IT, and Product teams to align data requirements and resolve queries.

  • Support onboarding new products and markets with proper static data configuration.

  • Process Optimization & Controls

  • Enhance data maintenance processes through automation, standardization, and simplified workflows.

  • Ensure strong control frameworks (maker-checker, change tracking, audit readiness)

  • Issue Management & Risk Mitigation

  • Act as escalation point for high-impact data or process issues.

  • Identify, triage, and escalate data-related risks, with remediation oversight.

  • Project Participation

  • Engage in system updates, UAT cycles, and static data implementations or platform shifts.

  • Partner with Technology/Data teams on strategic enhancements.

  • Reporting & Analytics

  • Provide analytics on data quality, exception volumes, and remediation metrics.

  • Generate periodic reports to senior stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in management and operations in Financial Services industry

  • Knowledge of Global Markets, Custody, Cash Management and Payment Management systems

  • Strong management and employee relation skills
