Who we are looking for
In this role, you will work with State Street teams from around the globe to support premier investment management clients. You will have immediate responsibility to oversee all day-to-day transactional responsibilities in a fast-paced, flexible and exciting environment.
Why this role is important to us
This is a varied position within the Transaction Management Exchange Traded Derivatives Team, within Middle Office Services. This Transaction Management ETD Sr. Associate acts as a Primary contact point for all internal/external clients. The team is responsible for trade confirmation, trade processing, reconciliations with prime brokers, margin validation & processing and reporting to clients as agreed within service level agreements. The team is also responsible to maintain client Recordkeeping data updated, process wire transfers, and work with prime brokers to resolve exceptions. The candidate is required to ensure service delivery to both internal and external clients, ensure timely response to client initiated queries and escalate appropriately to reporting manager.
What you will be responsible for
As Senior Associate, you will
- Involve in day to day operations of Transaction Management Exchange Traded Derivatives team in location for responsible client
- Drive transaction management, settlement and excellence though proactive management of the trade lifecycle
- Be a subject matter expert in service delivery and ensure client deliverable are reviewed and actioned timely
- Build a strong risk management and control environment
- Communicate effectively on issues / problems with the Clients and with STT management and ensure a proper and timely follow-up to ensure resolutions

- Effectively communicate with clients, custodians, brokers, managers, and peers within State Street

- Ensure all internal/external clients inquiries are logged and resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in finance/business or equivalent along with relevant industry experience
- Understanding of Middle Office operations, with strong knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivatives trade confirmation, processing, reconciliation and trade life cycle
- Proven experience with client communication/interaction at multiple levels
- Understanding of key technology within the support of investment management operations
- Experience of being part of organizational change, with an understanding of change management principles, techniques & tools
- Experience in leveraging technology solutions including low-code tools, SQL, Python or similar is advantageous
- Strong MS Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint skills necessary
- Strong English written and spoken ability
