Who We Are Looking For

As the FX Commercial Lead, we need a dynamic commercial leader with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and capturing market opportunities across the buy-side and sell-side client base. This individual will fully integrate the existing Currenex (CX), FX Connect (FXC), and Trade Nexus (TN) teams into a unified, high-performing sales organization focused on delivering measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Deep experience in building and executing revenue strategies within the Foreign Exchange (FX) market.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities while expanding wallet share with existing clients.
  • Expertise in FX trading platforms and post-trade applications, combined with analytical skills to uncover growth trends and competitive advantages.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex, high-value client engagements.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Commercial Leadership

  • Build and lead a global product sales team focused on revenue generation and market share growth.
  • Align CX, FXC, and TN sales teams under a unified commercial strategy that prioritizes client acquisition, cross-selling, and upselling.

Revenue Strategy & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy targeting buy-side and sell-side clients, with clear KPIs for revenue growth.
  • Identify new market opportunities, including geographic expansion and product diversification, to drive incremental revenue.
  • Lead initiatives such as post-Brexit continental Europe sales strategy and new product launches to capture emerging demand.

Client Engagement & Growth

  • Cultivate senior-level relationships with key clients to deepen engagement and increase wallet share.
  • Partner with clients to understand evolving needs and deliver tailored solutions that create commercial value.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, influencing client strategy and positioning GLFX as a preferred partner.

Industry Influence

  • Represent GLFX at major industry forums and conferences, positioning the brand as a market leader and thought partner.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to inform product and pricing strategies.

Salary Range:

$170,000 - $267,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
