Software Engineering & Development (State Street Bank and Trust Company; Boston, Massachusetts): Build and manage all stacks of an application including Front-end, Back-end, database, version control, server, and APIs. Specific job duties include: Develop .NET applications using .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET CORE; Collaborate with Technology and Business teams; Lead a team of developers; Develop web applications using .NET Framework 4.5 and .NET CORE; Design, build, and maintain efficient and reusable C# code using design patterns; Build and consume JSON-based ASP.NET Web API services; Develop front end website architecture; Design user interactions on web pages; Ensure responsiveness of applications; and Stay abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages. Telecommuting from within the United States permitted pursuant to Company policy.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field; and 5 years of IT/Software Development Experience.
Must have: Solid knowledge and work experience in multi-platform enterprise application architecture, development, and maintenance; Solid knowledge and work experience in Web, MQ, and Cloud development; Solid knowledge and work experience in debugging enterprise distributed system applications; Proven experience with Agile Development Mythologies; Demonstrated good communication skills, and ability to successfully collaborate well with different teams/stakeholders and vendors; Proven ability to work independently; Proven experience building and maintaining all the stacks of an application meaning Front-end, Back-end, database, version control, server and APIs; Demonstrated foundational, logical and creative level experience with many technologies including .NET, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, Rest, WebAPI, HTML5, AJAX, JSON, JQuery; Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript; Demonstrated familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React, and Amber; Proficiency with server-side languages such as C#, Java; Familiarity with database technology such as MS SQL; and Experience developing web applications using .NET Framework 4.5, .NET CORE.
