Job Description

Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and Balance Sheet Insight Center (BSIC) Reporting & Analytics team is an integral part of the Global Treasury organization. The team is responsible for allocating FTP and reporting Net Interest Income (NII) to all business units based on the nature of their assets and liabilities. We also serve as the primary point of contact between Global Treasury, Business leaders, and Finance partners worldwide on topics related to FTP, including business unit and product profitability and forecast guidance.

We are looking for a talented and motivated individual who is self-driven and results-oriented with a solid understanding of the balance sheet and NII. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on client satisfaction and building partnerships with a cross-section of Business, Finance, and Treasury team. In this role, you will be involved in key processes, transition projects and methodology changes to be updated in the FTP process of the Bank.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Drive production and forecast processes, FTP execution, and transformation of FTP metrics. Ensure NII allocation aligns with approved methodologies and business understanding.
  • Understand FTP calculation methodology and key impact drivers such as market interest rates, asset and liability duration, and balance sheet activity.
  • Manage complex processes across several platforms, systems, and data providers for BU & Client NII reporting.
  • Conduct internal quality control checks related to monthly actual and forecast production processes, including FTP rates, business unit, and product profitability.
  • Create and manage processes to track and report data quality KPIs; Collaborate closely with technology and data teams to resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Establish systems of control and escalation procedures. Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and audit.
  • Own all deliverables, including deposit reporting, NII reporting, and strong analytical commentary.
  • Provide timely and accurate reporting and variance analysis, including actual vs. budget, NII trends for review with finance business partners.
  • Collaborate closely with technology and data teams to resolve data inconsistencies.
  • Assist Finance partners with ad hoc reporting and projects.

**Qualifications:**

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in financial services or Treasury experience. Postgraduate in Finance & Accounting/ MBA or CA/CFA preferred.
  • Strong quantitative & analytical skills and an excellent understanding of a bank’s balance sheet and financial products.
  • Hands on technical experience working with finance technology including databases and data management tools.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools; ability to work with large datasets.
  • Strong communication and writing skills and ability to effectively manage stakeholders & business partners.
  • Highly analytical individual who can fully understand and own data quality end-to-end.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, work independently while maintaining attention to detail, and meet deadlines in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Excellent management and leadership skills with strong interpersonal, influencing, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
