Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced HR professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience in HR Operations and at least 2+ years of experience leading a team. You should have a strong understanding of best practices in operational controls, solid knowledge of the Polish Labor Code, and hands‑on experience in HR administration. Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and exceptional attention to detail are essential.
In this role, you will also lead and support a group of HR Specialists, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.

Your new role

As the HR Operations Team Leader, you will manage the HR Specialists team and oversee the execution of HR administrative processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead, support, and develop a team of HR Specialists, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.

  • Manage and execute HR activities in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner, including documentation preparation and ensuring data confidentiality.

  • Maintain strong practical knowledge of HR processes and actively monitor legislative changes, assessing their impact on HR operations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Create, review, and update HR policies and procedures; design, prepare, and implement new HR processes as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and independently implement enhancements.

  • Coordinate and ensure timely flow of critical information to stakeholders, vendors, and external partners, with follow-up on administrative details.

  • Manage employee inquiries related to HR administration processes.

  • Prepare and distribute standard and ad hoc HR reports in line with guidelines.

What we value

To be successful in this role, your profile should include:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Polish HR roles, including at least 2 years in a team‑leadership capacity.

  • Strong understanding of best practices in operational controls, labor law, and working with outsourced providers.

  • Working knowledge of the Polish Labor Code, social security obligations (ZUS) related to employment and working time regulations.

  • Communicative in written and oral English.

  • Experience working with HR systems; Workday and Enova are strong advantages.

  • Education in HR, finance, or accounting is preferred.

  • Ability to deliver high‑quality work in a dynamic environment with strong attention to detail.

  • Professional communication skills and ability to build relationships at all levels while maintaining confidentiality.

  • Very strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-look up, and advanced functions).

  • Strong customer focus and a proactive, “can‑do” attitude.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Minimum Salary:

zł132,000 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
