Who We Are Looking For
Alpha Platform is seeking an experienced risk manager to join our Business Risk Management (BRM) team. This role operates in a fast‑paced and rapidly growing environment. Candidates with risk management experience—particularly from G‑SIFI organizations and/or large public accounting firms—combined with strong technology risk and audit expertise, will be well positioned for success.

Effective risk management is essential to our organization. As a member of the BRM team, you will support the governance, oversight, and management of business risks in alignment with the firm’s risk excellence objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and assess risks and controls across business and technology processes.
- Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness through periodic process and control reviews.
- Self-identify and help the business identify control issues; analyze root causes; draft timely remediation plans; and monitor progress through closure.
- Advise on risk and control design, acting as a strategic partner during the introduction of new technologies and business processes.
- Support key business risk programs, including risk reviews, risk reporting, governance activities, issue/incident management, and control monitoring.
- Coordinate and prepare for internal and external reviews, including 2nd line assessments, internal audits, and regulatory examinations.
- Escalate potential violations of rules, regulations, policies, or procedures and recommend appropriate actions.
- Manage resources to effectively execute the responsibilities outlined above.
- Train colleagues in State Street methodologies and promote a culture of accountability and ownership across all levels of the organization.
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of the Business Risk function.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in risk management.
- Knowledge of industry risk and control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO).
- Experience with Microsoft tools, Archer platform, Open Pages, Tableau, and SharePoint.
- Preferred certifications: CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP.

Salary Range:
$110,000 - $207,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
