Manager Cyber Incident Management Governance, Vice President

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our Cyber Incident Management Governance team within the Cyber Defense Center.

This role is pivotal in ensuring our compliance with regulatory requirements and managing audit engagements effectively.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Cybersecurity, audit, and regulatory frameworks, along with proven leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team dedicated to Cyber Incident Management Governance. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

Governance and Compliance

  • Oversee the governance framework for cyber incident management, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the demand for regulatory and audit engagements, ensuring timely and accurate response to requests.

Audit and Regulatory Engagement

  • Directly engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulators, to facilitate audit processes and regulatory compliance.
  • Track, record, and present artefacts related to audit and regulatory requests for the Security Operations Center (SOC).

Reporting and Documentation

  • Develop and Maintain comprehensive documentation of governance processes, audit findings, and compliance activities.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

Stakeholder Communication

  • Act as the primary point of contact for audit and regulatory inquiries, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align incident management strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Cyber Security, Information Technology or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, audit or regulatory roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
  • Proven expertise in managing audit engagements and regulatory compliance processes.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and incident management processes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
