State Street Wealth Services seeks to enable wealth advisors and their investment managers to achieve better outcomes for their clients and themselves, thereby enabling revenue growth across all areas of State Street. It includes two operating businesses, Wealth Platforms (comprising CRD Wealth software, software services and investment advisory) and Wealth Custody (including banking, trading, lending and deposits revenue streams). With over $3 trillion in wealth related assets CRD Wealth is a leading provider of investment technology for wealth managers, providing portfolio management, trading, compliance capabilities, and manager / sponsor connectivity

What you will be responsible for

As a Co-op on the CRD Wealth and Advisor Platforms team, you will support strategic initiatives across product, client engagement, and platform innovation. You will report to the Head of Strategic Execution for CRD Wealth and Advisor Platforms and gain hands-on experience working with cross-functional teams and contribute to the evolution of one of the industry’s leading wealth management platforms.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategy & market analysis:

  • Support the strategic direction of the platform by conducting analysis of trends in the wealth tech market, including competitive landscape, client needs, and emerging technologies.

  • Product roadmap:
    Support the development and tracking of the product roadmap, including milestone planning and cross-functional coordination.

  • Business development:
    Collaborate with a cross-functional team to prepare for client meetings and events, including presentation materials, briefing documents, and follow-ups.

  • Executive communication:
    Develop executive-level presentations for quarterly business reviews, strategic updates, and leadership briefings.

  • Strategic Execution:
    Support the execution and roll out of large scale strategic initiatives

These skills will help you succeed in this role

  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to apply structured thinking to breakdown complex product and client challenges into actionable insights.

  • Research Skills: Strong capability to conduct market and competitive research, synthesize findings, and present clear recommendations.

  • Technical Aptitude: Experience with Powerpoint and Excel; familiarity with PowerBI, and an interest in emerging technologies like AI and digital platforms.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Comfort working in cross-functional teams and effectively communicating ideas through written and verbal channels.

  • Attention to Detail: Precision in handling data, documentation, and testing activities to ensure quality outcomes.

  • Adaptability & Curiosity: Eagerness to learn, explore new concepts, and thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Liberal Arts

Salary Range:

$41,600 - $65,000 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
