Who we are looking for
State Street Global Technology Services is looking for an experienced enterprise risk solution developer and data engineer to manage risk management applications This is a solution developer position responsible for designing and developing applications for operational risk management systems. The position involves designing solutions to process large volumes of data and interface systems for regulatory compliance and risk management. The candidate should have data and application engineering skills, understanding of enterprise risk management practices and should be able to work in global team, in a structured software development environment.
What you will be responsible for
As a Risk solution developer and data engineer you will
- Lead risk solution design and develop data models-based application need
- Represent risk technology in data governance forums
- Collaborate closely with operational risk managers to optimally design operational risk solution.
- Clearly communicate complex operational or technical subjects to developers and business users.
- Implementation planning with project sponsors and key stakeholders, determine project scopes and delivery milestones
What we value
These skills will help you succeed in this role
- 10+ years’ experience with data engineering and risk solution design
- Experience working in operational risk management domain
- Experience in financial industry working on financial modeling, simulation and regulatory projects.
- Understand capital market financial products and their pricing methods
- FRM or CFA designation is a plus
- Experience agile delivery & adhering to SDLC processes is required
- Ability to drive change through collaboration, influence and demonstration of POCs.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field

- Ability to lead delivery, manage team members in a matrix organization.
- Communicate effectively in a professional manner both written and orally
- Team player with a positive attitude enthusiasm initiative and self-motivation
- Ability to multi-task energetic fast learner & problem solver
Salary Range:
$135,000 - $217,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
