Who we are looking for
We are looking for a Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer who desire to work in a collaborative, team-driven environment on functions built for business requirements in response to doing risk management functions, compliance needs or regulatory reporting.
This role requires solid knowledge in software testing process, strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and good time management. Person should have experience of software testing in manual and automated manner.
This role is based in Poland and will work with State Street business users from all regions
What you will be responsible for
As a SQA engineer, you will
- Design, prepare, and implement test strategy and test scenarios
- Review test cases and test results
- Conduct testing and defects status meetings, and communicate cause and solution of system and/or software defects
- Conduct functional demonstrations for business users
- Work closely with Business and Development teams to resolve quality problems and provide information
- Participate in daily stand ups, iteration planning, product demos, and retrospective meetings

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience of SQA role, driving software development projects/agile rooms, from quality assurance stand point.Use of relational databases like ORACLE, Postgres and Big Data Platform like Databricks, Hadoop etc.
- Develop automated scripts via ETL automation tool, Python - Selenium and Pandas which will automate the data quality process and ensure the entire data set is validated
- Develop complex SQL queries using to validate all the data scenarios
- Well versed with writing and analyzing UNIX shell scripts and commands
- Familiarity with UNIX commands to execute jobs etc.
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies.
Additional requirements
- Participation in agile development working model.
- Experience of working on Confluence like collaboration tool for requirements and defects management
Minimum Salary:
zł87,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
