Who we are looking for
We are seeking a motivated testing professional with experience supporting testing strategy and delivery within large-scale transformation programs. The Officer will contribute to the Alpha Global Testing Practice by supporting strategy execution, planning, and coordination of end-to-end platform testing during Alpha implementations.
These programs span complex business models and data flows across front, middle, and back-office operations involving State Street, Charles River Development, clients, and industry partners.

Effective execution of testing strategy is critical to accelerating implementation timelines, ensuring quality delivery, and providing a seamless client experience. The Officer will play a key role in enabling this by supporting structured test planning, coordination, and execution aligned to strategic objectives.
What you will be responsible for
- Working with Implementation leads and manages global client onboarding programs to the Alpha platform.
- Representing State Street Alpha in client engagements, setting testing expectations and guiding delivery.
- Support implementation of testing strategy across Alpha onboarding programs in alignment with senior leadership direction.
- Support financial planning, resource allocation, and change management for the testing team.
- Work with global teams to ensure adherence to testing standards, processes, and best practices.
- Assist in coordinating functional, data, and integration testing streams.
- Support adoption of best practices and testing standards across workflows and data models.
- Support in delivering internal and client-facing documentation (e.g., proposals, playbooks, test plans).
- Contribute to development of test artifacts such as test plans, scenarios, documentation, and status reports.
- Contribute to creating presentations and status reports that include executive summaries, project plans, return on investment, recommendations, and general status to leadership.
- Areas of focus include global team strategy, quality assurance program for the testing on implementation projects, financial and resource planning and management, vendor management, standardization, and business risk management
What we value
The successful candidate must have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, and understand global portfolio management and financial servicing, including portfolio construction, trading, compliance, and risk across all major asset classes, along with strong collaboration skills.
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Stakeholder engagement and expectation management across project life cycles.
- Strong interest in global capital markets and quantitative investments.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills .
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, globally structured, and team-based environment, as well as the ability to work independently.
- Experience in agile methodology and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) preferred.
- Electronic trading platforms experience is useful but not essential.
- Experience in portfolio management theory and application is useful but not essential.
- Knowledge of key risk indicators, governance, oversight and escalation practices.
- Presentation preparation and delivery for business risk committees and cross organizational, executive and board of directors’ committees.
- Strong execution management skills for delivery of programs and initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate and work across multiple stakeholders.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Management or Information System Management.
- 12+ years overall experience with 8+ years of financial and/or technology transformation experience.
- 5+ years leading project teams across internal and external stakeholders.
