We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented analyst to join the Global Multi-Asset Research team at T. Rowe Price. Based in London, the analyst will focus on supporting the Global Investment Solutions team covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa (EMEA) and Latin America. The team’s main responsibilities include delivering customised multi-asset investment solutions to institutional and intermediary clients across EMEA and Latin America, managing multi-asset portfolios, and generating and communicating market and tactical asset allocation (TAA) views.

In this role, you will blend client objectives, investment research, and T. Rowe Price capabilities to develop tailored analyses and proposals. This includes:

  • Strategic asset allocation (SAA) and portfolio construction using T. Rowe Price strategies
  • Competitor and peer group analysis
  • Design and analysis of bespoke fixed income, equity, or multi-asset strategies
  • Responses to client-specific inquiries (e.g., currency hedging, manager structure, portfolio construction, retirement plan design, etc.)
  • Support for new products and investment framework development
  • Support the management of primarily multi-asset strategies

You will primarily support regional Multi-Asset strategists, while also collaborating with quantitative researchers, portfolio managers, and distribution teams, primarily in EMEA.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Conduct financial, quantitative, and statistical analyses, portfolio optimisations, risk and scenario analysis, and other analytical assessments that contribute to the creation of investment proposals delivered to clients and prospects.

2. Collaborate across the Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset Divisions. Develop a deep knowledge of the resources and investment processes leveraged within these teams and apply them (as appropriate) when developing customised multi-asset solutions.

3. Engage with internal stakeholders and external markets (clients, prospects, consultants) in the investment process. Approach investment decisions and portfolio implementation with curiosity, energy, and a desire for thoroughness, attentiveness to detail, and excellence.

4. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global investment trends and T. Rowe Price capabilities. Attend and contribute to investment strategy meetings, read research reports, utilise information services, etc. to maintain a knowledge base required to successfully represent the capabilities of T. Rowe Price and the strategic initiatives of Global Investment Solutions.

5. Support the deepening of Multi-Asset client relationships via close interaction with a wide range of T. Rowe Price staff, including portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, relationship associates, operations staff, and other staff responsible for producing and delivering investment outcomes and insights to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, Physics)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, ideally in a multi-asset investment related role
  • Interest in or pursuit of MBA and/or the CFA programme
  • Programming experience (R, Matlab, Python, SQL, Git); advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with Macrobond is a plus
  • Strong understanding of investment concepts and portfolio analytics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong oral and written communication; ability to present complex concepts in a consultative, solutions-focused manner
  • Ability to interact well with portfolio managers, portfolio specialists, quantitative analysts, distribution and client service professionals, and institutional clients and consultants
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and highly motivated
  • Demonstrates integrity and passion for performance
  • Proficiency in European languages (e.g. German, Italian) is a plus
