The Senior Portfolio Investment Analyst will reside within the Investment and Trading Solutions team, acting as a strategic partner to portfolio managers, traders, and other investment staff. This role will focus on equity and multi-asset portfolio modeling and analysis, cash management and FX process. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring efficient portfolio management across asset classes while driving best practices in cash and FX processes.

Principal Responsibilities

Equity Portfolio Management

  • Partner directly with portfolio management teams on day-to-day modeling of equity strategies, including exposure monitoring, trade allocations, and cash flow management.
  • Utilize internal systems for portfolio management and trade modeling.
  • Coordinate with analysts, portfolio managers, traders, compliance, and legal on portfolio and security transactions.
  • Monitor portfolio analytics and generate accurate orders through the trade cycle.
  • Support the investment process and perform ad-hoc analysis related to portfolio strategies.
  • Exposure to modelling of multi-asset strategies

Cash & Currency Management

  • Provide back up support to the Cash and FX investment analyst
  • Oversee cash balances and cash flow activity for equity and fixed income accounts.
  • Evaluate and reconcile cash and FX data, ensuring proper trading and settlement timing.
  • Manage currency needs for accounts; monitor balances and trading activity to identify FX requirements, raise FX orders, and address repatriation needs.
  • Coordinate communication regarding cash flows and related trading strategies across teams.

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ years of TRowe or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Math, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving ability, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient with technology (Python, R, SQL) and a data-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of derivatives, multiple asset classes, and FX markets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to assimilate information from multiple parties to make pertinent trading decisions.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a larger team.
  • High ethical standards, intellectual curiosity, and creativity.

Preferred

  • Progress toward an advanced degree or professional designation (MBA, MS in Finance, CFA, CPA).
  • Experience with cash and FX management in institutional portfolios.
